Swim Pony is creating a new interactive theater piece about the quiet heartbreak of lost friendship — and we want to hear from you.

ELEGY FOR A FORMER BEST FRIEND will be an intimate experience for two people. Seated at a table with a pair of scripts, a cassette deck participants use to DJ the experience, and each other, audiences read, listen, and follow prompts that guide them through a shared story of remembering. Together, they’ll choose how to interpret what’s on the page — building a narrative from fragments of closeness, distance, and everything in between.
